The High Desert Hooters of Northern Nevada

Who are the High Desert Hooters?    

We are six women from Northern Nevada:  Rhonda Clark, Brandi Anderson, Chrissy Haugland, Carla Morris, Kari Sanderfer, and Tanya Lenon and we are dedicated to helping eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease. We  formed our group The High Desert Hooters to help fight this disease by raising money and awareness to help find a cure for breast cancer.

Every year we participate in the Breast Cancer 3-Day.  This is a three day, 60-mile walk in which millions of dollars are raised to support a cure for Breast Cancer. For some of us, this will the the fifth annual walk and we will continue this grueling yet life changing event each year until a cure if found.  This year we will be walking in Washington, D.C. in October 2009.

In order to raise the minimum contribution to particiapte in the walk ($2,300.00 per person), the High Desert Hooters organized a golf tournament.  Our 5th Annual Golf Tournament will be held at Lakeridge Golf Club on June 12, 2009.

There are various levels of sponsorship which include rounds of golf and advertising. Tournament details include: 18 holes of golf w/cart; Mixed, Mens & Womens contests; Longest Drive; Closest to the Pin, Tee Prizes; Raffle and Post Round Scoring Party w/Dinner.
